Product Features

The Q800 series rail-mounted LCD temperature controller is a compact industrial-grade temperature control device designed for rail mounting, suitable for scenarios requiring precise temperature management. Its main features include:

Appearance and Installation: Rail-mounted structure with dimensions of 112mm × 99.5mm × 35mm (unit: mm), facilitating quick DIN rail installation and supporting optional quick connectors for parallel connection of multiple devices to power and communication systems.

Power and Durability: Powered by DC24V with a low power consumption design (approximately 2W), operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C, equipped with overload protection and error code display (e.g., Err2/Err3 indicating range overlimit).

Flexible Input and Output: Supports various sensor inputs (thermocouples K/J/E/S/B/W526, RTD PT100, linear signals 4-20mA/0-5V/0-10V), with output options including 4-20mA, SSR solid-state relay, 0-10V/0-5V voltage, and relay (normally open/normally closed). Analog output supports soft start (10s to 2000s adjustable) to prevent load shock.

Control Precision and Stability: PID control (proportional band 1~1000, integral 1~3999s, derivative 1~3999s) combined with auto-tuning for automatic parameter optimization; on-off control supports hysteresis adjustment (0~100); overshoot suppression coefficient (0~20) and control intensity coefficient (0~3) ensure minimal overshoot.

Communication and Integration: Built-in RS485 communication (baud rate 1200~38400bps, supporting odd/even/no parity), device address 1~100, compatible with Modbus protocol, facilitating integration with upper computers and remote control.

Safety and Expansion: Two groups of alarm relays (normally open/normally closed switchable), supports manual output (1~100%), temperature compensation (-999~2000), output limit (0~100%); program mode includes power-off protection and segment jump.

Others: LCD display (PV measured value/SV set value), LED indicators (OUT/ALM1/ALM2/PRG/COM/RUN), simple operation, supports factory reset.

Application Scenarios

This product is widely used in industrial automation and process control fields, particularly suitable for scenarios requiring precise temperature regulation:

Industrial Heating/Cooling Systems: Such as electric furnaces, ovens, injection molding machines, chemical reactors, used for constant temperature control or multi-segment temperature curve programming (heating, insulation, cooling).

Laboratories and Research: Temperature test equipment, incubators, supports linear signal input, suitable for analog control.

Automated Production Lines: Integrated into PLC or upper computer systems for remote monitoring and batch management via communication.

Energy and Environmental Protection: Boilers, greenhouses, food processing, etc., supports deviation alarms and DO control to prevent over-temperature or low-temperature risks.

Others: Suitable for scenarios with significant load resistance changes (e.g., high-power heaters), soft start function ensures equipment safety; program control mode suits complex processes (e.g., heat treatment, annealing).

Main Functions

The Q800 supports both fixed value control and program control modes, switchable via parameters (SS-1=0/1), with detailed functions as follows:

Function Category Detailed Description
Temperature Control - Fixed Value Mode: Directly sets SV target temperature (-200~2000°C adjustable), supports PID/on-off control. - Program Mode: Supports 30-segment curve programming, each segment sets starting temperature (SP), duration (tt, 0~9999min, -1 for infinite insulation), output limit (FF, 0~100%). - Priority Selection: Time priority (t-CF=0) or temperature priority (t-CF=1, deviation value TAG=1~1000). - Auto-Tuning: Initiated via buttons or communication, automatically calculates PID parameters (P/I/D). - Manual Mode: Directly sets output percentage (1~100%), unaffected by PID.
Alarm Function - Two independent alarms (ALM1/ALM2), 9 modes: no alarm, over-temperature/low-temperature, high/low deviation, zone alarm, hysteresis alarm, DO control, program end/segment end alarm. - Upper/lower limit setting (-200~2000), normal/reverse action (normally open/normally closed), upper computer can directly control (0/1 switch). - Program End Alarm: Engages for 30s after completion; segment end alarm: engages after specified segment until reset.
Operation Management - Power-On Run Switch (P016=0/1): Auto-run or requires start signal (button or communication address 143=1). - Program Operation: Start/pause/reset (button or communication addresses 143/156), supports segment jump (address 152=0~30). - Power-Off Protection (SS-2=0~2): Saves breakpoint, auto/manual recovery upon power restoration, continues based on PV matching (constant temperature/heating/cooling rules).
Display and Operation - Dual-line LCD: Upper line PV (measured value/parameter name/error code), lower line SV (set value/parameter value). - Buttons: SET (setting/forward), PRG (program/back), DN/UP (increase/decrease/auto-tune/run control). - Error Handling: Displays Err codes, PV flashes as prompt; quick return to main interface (press DN 3s).
Extended Functions - Communication Address Table: 170 addresses, supports reading/writing PV/SV/PID/program segments, etc. - Input Compensation: Tr parameter (-999~2000) corrects sensor deviation. - Output Selection: P020=0~3 switches 4-20mA/0-20mA/0-5V/0-10V. - Range Setting: Input type (P001=0~5), upper/lower limit customizable.
